The roadshow aims to give school leaders in each key region the opportunity to contribute to a unique morning of innovation sharing and discovery in a unique speed dating format.
During each event, host schools will be showcasing how they are leading the way in teaching and learning, before school leaders from across the region will be invited share their own ideas. The roadshow will be sponsored by award-winning classroom innovators Tute Education.
Michael Forshaw, founder and managing director of Innovate My School said: “With budgets and time tight for schools, we know that we have to inspire school leaders to be the best they can be. By sharing what's working at grassroots level, based on our immensely popular ‘speed dating for schools’ process, we can help ensure that education innovation has an opportunity to grow.”

Shireland Collegiate Academy, Smethwick - 7th July
New York Primary School, North Shields - 29th September

Simon Rushton, director of enterprise at Plymouth School of Creative Arts, said: "The purpose of Plymouth School of Creative Arts' is 'Creating Individuals, Making Futures'. That purpose is not limited by any institutional, geographical or social boundary, so we are excited to be partnering with Innovate My School in support of their efforts to bring innovative solutions and people to the attention of other schools at the Innovate My School LIVE event on July 4th. We look forward to sharing our ideas and practice and to learning from others, visitors and suppliers alike, about theirs, as we make friendships and relationships that help us each to best meet the needs of our 21st Century learners".
Kirsty Tonks, principal designate at Shireland Technology Primary, said: “We are so pleased and very excited to be hosting an Innovate My School LIVE roadshow event on Friday 7th July at Shireland Collegiate Academy. In a world where budgets are shrinking, it becoming increasingly difficult for senior leaders to be able to get out of school and see what is new and innovative in educational technology. Innovate My School bridges this gap and allows companies to come to local schools in one focused session, rather than schools spending vast amounts of time searching online for new products that are going to make a difference. They have done the hard work, and sourced the very best that are worth taking a look at.”
