The British Educational Suppliers Association works with a variety of organisations, such as UKTI Education on international ventures and i2i Events on Bett Futures 2017 - the latter featuring many start-ups from BESA’s Launchpad programme. Combined, BESA’s members constitute around 80% of the market in terms of the amount spent by UK schools on products and services.
“I’m very pleased to welcome Innovate My School as BESA members,” said BESA director general Caroline Wright. “They’re doing some exciting work with teachers across the world, and we’ll be seeing them at Bett in just a few months time.”
Patrick Hayes, BESA director, said: "The vibrant community generated by Innovate My School has the potential to transform the way in which teachers in the UK and globally deliver their lessons. And through its renowned 'speed-dates', it is at the cutting-edge of connecting schools with high-quality, innovative education products and services, such as those provided by BESA members.
"BESA membership is worn as a badge of honour by the industry. It is a well-recognised sign to schools and education authorities that a company provides high-quality products and services, and can be trusted. We are delighted to welcome Innovate My School into the Association."
Michael Forshaw, Innovate My School managing director, said: "This is an amazing start to the year. We’ve been collaborating with BESA for a while now, and it’s an honour and a privilege to be included as a member. No doubt this will help us to provide teachers and our partners with more insights and opportunities than ever before."
